steppin' out wobble style!

well, lucas has been walking up a storm these last couple of months...holding onto our fingers! he has yet to walk on his own, but he came five steps closer today. lucas took about five steps on his own tonight for the first time! it happened after dinner. i steadied lucas in front of me with allan just a few feet away. then, i let go and lucas wobbled on his own over to allan. he surprised us both! i'm really looking forward to him being able to walk on his own (my back kills me when i have to lean over and walk with him for too long, even though i'm short and don't actually have to lean over that much). i have been warned, though, that the skill of walking brings all kinds of new troubles. :P we'll see very soon.
