let's hear it for limbo fish

a couple of weekends ago we headed over to my cousin's store, smoovies, to hear my niece play in her school's steel drum band, limbo fish. they sounded incredible! their teacher, mr. leggett, is amazing. it was a great family outing (minus allan who was on a camping trip with the guys). the kids, vicky, nate, and i had a ton of fun and if you've never been to smoovies before, you need to head on over there...especially on one of their "movie nights!"

still behind

in my last post of going back in time to make up for my disappearance, i neglected to include some pics from this year's mother's day. the day is now a little fuzzy to me, but i remember that the kids and allan cooked my favorite breakfast for me...french toast! it was deeeelicious! (i can't remember what else was on my plate.) they also presented me with a gift, which was SO precious. you can read about it here on our photography blog. i absolutely loved it and was amazed with allan's creativity and writing. i had him hang it up immediately. i chose a spot near the kids' rooms so that i would walk by it about 50 times a day. :0)

here are a few pics of me with my kids. i love them so much and praise God for blessing me and allan with them. He is SO good.

back at it!

hello world! it has been QUITE a while since i've been on this site of mine and, honestly, it has been rather refreshing. it made me realize that it takes a good chunk of my time to keep this old thing running. but it's worth it because it's my way of "scrapbooking" my memories of the kids. since it's been so long, i'm just going to post some pics from the recent past without much captioning. here goes...oh, and thanks for stopping by and not abandoning this blog completely!
