awhile ago (like, years ago) i decided that the reason i was doing such a poor job of keeping up this blog was because of lack of time. with the girls being so close in age, i look back and realize that i had my hands pretty full when they were younger. add homeschooling on top of that and no wonder my days were/are crazy. but then, as i thought about it some more, i realized that it isn't so much a lack of time, but more so because facebook makes it so easy to upload pictures and quick thoughts that it has taken the place of would-be blog posts. it has even taken up time that i used to spend reading and commenting on my friends' blog posts. it's just easier to scroll through fb and hit 'like'. it's sad because i think blogs are so much more personal and thoughtful. so, even though i've posted a bunch of pics on fb, here's my attempt at summing up our summer of 2012!

oh please don't let FB replace your blog!!! I think FB is a good place for just random thoughts and an occasional photo, but your blog tells your story, and i love reading it (as well as all my friends!). :)
love the pictures, btw. i find it harder to find time to blog because i'm busy living my life, hahaha... but i do want like journal everything for the kids so they can one day look back on our fun times!
